Aliens Vs Predator PS3

Developed at Rebellion by the team responsible for the original 1999 classic, in the all-new Aliens vs. Predator players have the chance to take the role of the three infamous species; the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien.

Each of the three species has its very own distinct story-driven single-player campaign mode that interweaves with the campaigns of the other two species. Aliens vs. Predator will also feature unique 3-way online multiplayer, allowing gamers to pit the three species against each other in the ultimate battle for survival and for the right to be crowned the deadliest species.

On planet BG-386 a colonist mining group discovers an ancient pyramid containing a dark and horrible secret. Across the stars a race of warriors is alerted to the discovery of their pyramid and a hunting party is dispatched to ensure that it remains sealed at all costs, whilst deep inside the ruined pyramid a malevolent intelligence awakes from centuries of dormancy.

The Marines story is an incredible fight against the odds, and the horrors lurking in the dark. Beset on all sides yet armed to the teeth, the Colonial Marine represents humanitys last stand with the firepower to fight back.

As the Alien, players will discover what its like to be the most murderous and lethal creature in the universe, with the ability to traverse any surface with awesome agility in order to get close enough to unleash its deadly teeth and claws.

A master of the hunt, the Predator grants the player a suite of exotic weaponry and equipment with which to stalk its unknowing prey. Earn the greatest honour by ambushing prey up-close and butchering them for a gory trophy kill.

graphics – in this game i have found a little fault in the gave . i would say the graphics need a tad improving . like the walls and background . but i see where they have made them a little plain to focus more on the gameplay so i think that gives it a better review

gameplay – the gameplay is quite good i would say not the best but fun . i like the kill system like pressing square to do a decent kill for the alien and predator . to me the movement can be a little better with the alien it gets a little annoying when aiming for a paticuler enemy.

online – i dont know if its my rooter or the servers but when i try to find a game with a friend of mine i can hardly connect to a game or just take forever. but when i get online and start the battle it can be fun when killing then and hearing them on the mic of how you killed them and find it funny . so i find it very fun especially when team deathmatch and with a mate.

voice acting – the voice acting is neat and tidy and fluent i cant find any mistakes in this subject of the game and it keeps the game on its toes.

Aliens versus Predator although not executed perfectly is still enjoyable and if minor annoyances can be wrinkled out a sequel could be even more enjoyable. The worst part of the game for me at least is the marine missions, it is any bog standard fps you could lose interest very quickly or really enjoy it.I personally bought this for the alien and predator gameplay and although the alien gameplay takes a bit of getting used to once mastered is really good fun.The best bits though do come as the predator the great weapons and thermal vision really make for a different experience and a really enjoyable one.

This game does total justice to the films its from. I enyoed the preditor type the most but all of them have such good game play. Really atmospheric. Great twists and even better choices of gameplay. Weapons are wicked and overall its just rocks. If you like the films and you like games then this is the one for you.

    I didn’t get far

I’ve started a couple new games as marine. I never did get very far nor do I think I ever shall.

Graphics are very fine, I’ll grant that: enormously detailed, well made and interesting surroundings. When I can see them in the often almost total darkness, that is. And everything seems static and immovable, almost as if all this depth has no purpose.

Gameplay is shooting at everything that moves and I seem never to hit anything: the thingies are too agile for my controller abilities and reloading the last checkpoint quickly becomes a bore on “normal” level.

I do not find the game interesting or immersive in any way whatsoever. I have Call of Duty, Doom 3, Dead Space, Fear 2, Half Life 2 to amuse me if I feel like playing a shooter and those are games I can handle …mostly.

Sega’s latest game AVP is a true game. The graphics are brilliant, you play ever alien, predator or human and each sone of these stroy lines are fun and have that little bit a hardness and puzzle towards them. The only downsides to the game are: Firstly when you go online it can somtimes take a while to find a game which can get really annoying and Secondly you have to read the instruction book to fully understant what to do on the matches. But there is an upside to online… once again the maps are brilliant!
